Donnie on the set of Bar Rescue and other Donnie updates

A few days ago, Donnie left a somewhat cryptic Instagram note: emojis of a glass of liquor and a life preserver ring. Many people assumed it could be a hint of an NKOTB cruise announcement coming soon, however he later clarified that he meant "Bar Rescue" and posted a photo of him and Jon Taffer in his stories and said, "Great night on the set of @barrescuetv" with my buddy @jontaffer. Can't wait to see this rescue."

Donnie will be appearing at the Paley Center along with other cast members of Blue Bloods on October 17 for an advance screening of one of the final Blue Bloods episodes followed by a conversation with members of the cast and creative team.

As of right now, tickets for the main seating have sold out, but a secondary viewing area where you can watch a live telecast of this special PaleyFest program onsite at The Paley Museum. Click here for tickets!

Speaking of Blue Bloods, there is a new special edition of TV Guide all about Blue Bloods! If you want a little preview, Elisa on Instagram posted a preview. Like she mentioned, if you can't find this on newsstands, it's also available on Amazon

He might not have been hinting about a cruise, but he did drop a couple of hints about something...

Sounds like Donnie wants you to vote for Jon (and Joey) in People Magazine's Sexiest Men poll!

He shared some advice on his stories:

Donnie received some shorts from "Mathmatik Athletics" and shared his unboxing video:

In between filming Very Scary People and hanging out on the set of Bar Rescue, he has been hanging out with his family and his puppies:

Joey in NY for "Drag" rehearsals and more!

Rehearsals for "Drag the Musical" in New York have begun and Joey posted a few stories from his time at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In case you missed it in his stories, Drag the Musical added some bar ledge and table seating. You can still get tickets (if you already bought tickets, you should have received an email with instructions on how to upgrade your tickets).

Did you know that Joey and Jonathan are both in People Magazine's poll for the "Sexiest Men of 2024"? Joey's category is "which sexy Fiyero makes you want to fly"? (Joey played Fiyero in "Wicked" around 2005). Jon is up for the sexiest "handy man"! You can vote online here!

Joey shared his thoughts after the iHeart Radio/PBS special aired last week:

And he rallied to get the full version of "Please Don't Go Girl" posted online:

Donnie Wahlberg working on season 6 of "Very Scary People"

Last week Donnie began filming season 6 of "Very Scary People". This season it returns to Investigation Discovery (ID).

Donnie shared a few photos from his trip to begin filming:

Rain Management posted this announcement:

And here is an article from The Wrap with more details about season 6:

Donnie Wahlberg’s ‘Very Scary People’ Gets Season 6 Order at Investigation Discovery | Exclusive

The true crime docuseries has started production on eight new episodes this week

Donnie Wahlberg’s “Very Scary People” is returning for Season 6 on Investigation Discovery, with production on eight new episodes kicking off this week, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

The true crime docuseries, which is hosted and executive produced by Wahlberg, offers an expansive look into society’s most evil minds, revealing unprecedented insight into their crimes through rare in-depth interviews and archival footage.

Stories to be featured this season include that of Scott Kimball, a serial killer who was able to roam freely and undetected for six years while acting in the guise of an FBI informant; Clarence Heatley, a diabolical kingpin who ran a multi-million-dollar drug operation marked by dozens of vicious murders; and David Matusiewicz, the mastermind behind a warped family unit in which he conspired to kidnap his own kids and unleashed a deadly, pernicious campaign against his ex-wife.

“I cannot wait to dig in and start filming this next season of ‘Very Scary People,’” Wahlberg said in a statement. “These stories will leave true crime fans stunned as we unravel the depraved crimes and minds of frightening killers we haven’t considered before.”

Wahlberg currently stars in CBS’ “Blue Bloods, which will air its final season this fall after 14 years. Previously, he served as an EP on “Wahlburgers,” as well as “Donnie Loves Jenny,” “Rock This Boat” and “Boston’s Finest.” He has also appeared in the “Saw” horror series and the Golden Globe- and Emmy Award-winning miniseries “Band of Brothers.”

He and his wife Jenny McCarthy also have a production deal with Lionsgate to create original unscripted programming.

“Donnie Wahlberg has firmly established himself as a dynamic voice in the true crime genre, captivating audiences with his riveting storytelling,” ID president Jason Sarlanis said. “Donnie’s relentless pursuit of the most gripping stories has been a natural fit for ID and we are excited to deepen our collaboration on ‘Very Scary People,’ bringing even more compelling episodes to our viewers.”

The latest season of “Very Scary People” saw ratings jump 83% from the previous season and double-digit growth over its prior six-week time slot average, drawing 6 million viewers across Investigation Discovery.

The series is produced for ID by Wahlberg and McCarthy’s Work Baby Production in partnership with Pilgrim Media Group, a division of Lionsgate Alternative Television. Other executive producers include Desma Simon, Leigh Purinton and Jonathan Baruch.

Donnie celebrates 10 years of marriage to Jenny McCarthy and more!

Since my last "catching up with Donnie" post, Donnie took a couple of group selfies during some of the last meet and greets in Columbus and Noblesville...

He was also a little teary-eyed during the final moments of the tour:

After the golf tournament the day after the tour ended, he went home to St. Charles and hung out with some friends:

Then he and Jenny celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary over the weekend:

They each posted to their Instagram pages about their anniversary:

In other news, rapper Fatman Scoop passed away over the weekend, and Donnie posted this memory of him at a New Kids concert in 2019. Fatman Scoop also interviewed Donnie in 2020, and you can watch that video here

Catching up with Jon!

Time to catch up with Jon!

I found these posted on a Facebook group. Not sure what the original source was, but they were taken before the show in Cuyahoga Fall, OH.

Paula Abdul taught Jon some dance moves:

Jon was featured in this video by Paris Visone:

Jon was also featured in some of the "watermelon reviews" with Paris:

Paint Party with Paula posted some additional footage of the Knight family painting (as seen on Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp):

Here is a photo with their completed paintings:

It looks like it's been about 2 months since I've done a "catching up with Jon" post, and he has posted several times on Instagram since then. Here's one of my favorites:

Rather than embed them all, here is the link to his profile
