New Kids on the Block's "The Block Revisited" Track Listing

The track listing for NKOTB's upcoming album "The Block Revisited" has been released on Apple Music in some other countries! I don't know the release date yet though. Update: it'll be out November 3rd! and you can preorder it here. There are 4 new songs: "Wanna Fall In Love" "Girls Night Out" "You Got My Heart" and "Sweat"!  There will also be some remixes, plus messages from Alma Wahlberg and Tom McIntyre.

The demo of "You Got My Heart" sung by Nasri has been around for a while if you're interested in getting a preview of that song. Sadly, it looks like they were not able to include the song "Back Together" that they mentioned at BlockCon.

"Close To You" was previously only available on some international versions of “The Block”.  "Coming Home" was released to promote their 2009 DVD of the same name, but has not been included on any previous full-length albums.

Update: Here is the full song on YouTube:

Thanks to MaeDJK on Instagram for sharing the song originally.

The official title is "Dirty Dancing (Dem Jointz Remix) featuring Joshua, DK and Dino of SEVENTEEN".

It appears that the upcoming re-release of "The Block" will be called "The Block Revisited"!

Also, a group of "Carats" (the name the SEVENTEEN fandom uses to call themselves) have put together some goals to help get this song some recognition!

NKOTB and Seventeen single "Dirty Dancing" to be released on Friday

Just announced: The New Kids on the Block and SEVENTEEN recorded a new version of the NKOTB song "Dirty Dancing" and it'll be released on Friday!

NKOTB and SEVENTEEN rumors, the next few months, and more

Donnie added a story on Instagram this morning with a photo of what appears to be cards he is autographing. It says "New Kids on the Block" at the top, so I'm assuming the rest of the guys will eventually be signing these as well. He didn't specify that they will be used for, but he did say after "the mystery" is revealed, that it would be the first of many things in the coming months!

It looks like we will have to wait until 2024 for this one, but he is thinking of planning a charity golf tournament in which fans can attend!

The "17" mystery has still not been solved, but here are a few things I've seen that may offer some more clues.

I noticed that the K-Pop group SEVENTEEN reshared the "17" post last week, but my initial reaction was probably just them responding jokingly in a "hey that's us" kind of way. Kind of like maybe the New Kids might have done had they used the phrase "new kids on the block" about something unrelated to the guys.

However, there have been some additional developments over the past few days that leads me to believe they may actually be doing something with SEVENTEEN.

First is Donnie himself shared their retweet:

Then the NKOTB account posted a gif from the movie "Dirty Dancing" yesterday, and SEVENTEEN retweeted that as well.

Then music producer "Dem Jointz" posted these:

According to the Wikipedia page about Dem Jointz, he "can be recognized by his "Incoming!" producer tag in the beginning on the songs he produced". So, it looks like he may be producer if they do collaborate!

I've seen a few people concerned about the two groups going on tour together and tickets being difficult to get. I think if they collaborate, it'll just be for a song. Donnie has said the 2024 NKOTB tour will most likely be just the New Kids with an opening act (see this post for that). SEVENTEEN has over 12 million followers on their social media accounts, so they might be too big to be an opening act. Also, keep in mind the guys collaborated with many other artists on their original release of "The Block" and they didn't tour with them (New Edition, Ne-Yo, The Pussycat Dolls, Akon etc.).

Donnie has been reading the speculations online and he responded to a few more posts (see some previous responses here).

After the NKOTB account posted the "Dirty Dancing" scene, Rattail posted a clip from the movie in which the song "Big Girls Don't Cry" was playing in the background. Donnie responded and said they were on to something with that song. I'm assuming he's referring to the song "Big Girl Now" from their album "The Block".

He also responded to a post by thegothgirlblockhead. She suggested they may be re-releasing a "Dirty Dancing" music video for the re-release of "The Block". Read her post and Donnie's response below:

Donnie Wahlberg's interview with JJ & JoAnne Between The Records

Donnie stopped by 104.3 WOMC's booth at the golf tournament yesterday. He talked to "JJ & JoAnne" about stopping to take selfies, Band of Brothers and more! Listen to the interview below:

Donnie Wahlberg at the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational

Now we know where Donnie was going when he shared the photo of him on the plane yesterday. He was going to Detroit, Michigan to participate in Feldman Automotive Group's Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational benefiting Beaumont Health Children’s and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation! Other attendees included Donnie's brothers Mark and Jim, Kevin James (Donnie's co-star in The Zookeeper), Nick Turturro (from Blue Bloods) and Walter McCarty (basketball coach and NBA player).

17

It's been about 72 hours since the mysterious "17" post from NKOTB. We still don't have any definitive answers, but Donnie was online over the weekend and responded to a few posts... most notably saying there will be more than 17 tracks on the next album!

Donnie posted from an airplane this morning. Where do you think he is going?

NKOTB News for August 25

It's been about 2 weeks since the Oklahoma and Iowa concerts and Joe's summer tour is over (for now), so the "news" has been a little slow lately. However, the 15th anniversary of "The Block" is quickly approaching, and we know that the guys have previously announced they would be re-releasing their album "The Block" with additional material

The official NKOTB account dropped this on their Twitter feed this morning, and Donnie reposted it with the comment "Music makes the world go around":

So, it looks like something is brewing! Based on Donnie's comment, it sounds like it could be the release of a new single or album. My guess is maybe something is happening 17 days from today, which would mean September 11. However, that date falls on a Monday and album releases are usually on Fridays.  Another possibility is they will be announcing the 2014 tour. What do you think? Leave a comment below.

While we wait for more details, here are some other things going on...

Speaking of waiting for details, Wahlburgers in St. Charles, IL posted this on their social media last night:

Join us for a Funky Funky Holiday Kickoff🎅🏼🎊

On November 24th & 25th we're turning up the holiday cheer! Expect joy, jingle, and all things merry at The Blockhead Clubhouse. More details to be announced soon❤️🤖🎄

In the meantime, Donnie has been stopping in at random times since he lives close by, so you never know when you might see him there! This was from earlier this week:

Joey posted this on his Instagram right after his shows in Hawaii were done, implying that he will be adding more solo dates soon!

Here are some other highlights from the guys' recent social media posts:

Jonathan shared a photo of him and Jordan on Wednesday:

Trading in our microphones for power tools. Love when family stops by our job sites to check on progress. #FarmhousefixerHGTV

Jonathan also shared some new photos at home relaxing, and it looked like their dog Oliver has a new friend!

You can see the puppy more clearly in this story from Harley. I'm not sure if this puppy is a permanent member of the family or just a puppy play date.

Jonathan also shared this clip of him having some fun with his friend Victoria last week:

These are a little older, but I had saved some of Joey's stories and I don't think I've posted these ones yet:

(This was a repost from someone else and Joey's comments are in the top left corner)

Here are some words of wisdom from Donnie

Joey McIntyre's shows in Hawaii

Joey played two shows at the Blue Note in Honolulu, Hawaii over the weekend! These are the last of his scheduled solo dates, but he has been hinting he may add more dates in "the south", Brooklyn, and more at The Bourbon Room in Los Angeles.  He raised more than $4,000 for those on Maui just on his merch sales and a group of "Bravehearts" raised over $3,000! Plus, he doesn't know the amount of money yet, but he is donating his proceeds from Sunday's show as well.

Here are some video highlights of his time in Hawaii from his Instagram

(Note it freezes briefly about 7:17 because Barrett called, and it stopped his livestream)

And here are some photos he shared:

Update: Here one more video from his stories about raising money for Maui:

Remember Betty helps survivors cope with the costs of breast cancer

KATU 2 did a news segment about Remember Betty and how they help breast cancer survivors cope with the costs. It’s a great interview in which they talk to Danny’s sister, Bethany about the foundation. They showed some footage from the Dunn’s Duffers fundraiser that took place on August 4th, and Team Betty PDX’s Summer Sock Hop fundraiser that took place on August 5th. They also talk with breast cancer patients about their experiences.

NKOTB's shows in Oklahoma and Iowa

The New Kids on the Block played 2 shows over the weekend: one at the Choctaw Resort and Casino in Durant, OK on Friday, and another at the Iowa State Fair on Saturday!

Since the 2 venues were not that close, they flew through a crazy thunderstorm from Oklahoma to Iowa after the first show... Jon shared these photos on his Instagram

Donnie shared these
