In this video clip Joey McIntyre talks about where he was on 9/11/01. He mentioned he lived near the World Trade Center at the time, but he was in Seattle on that day. He then drove across the country to get back home to NY.

I had a newborn baby and I remember I had been up w her ALL night.She and I hadn't been asleep long when My husband who worked nights came in the room and said, "I hate to wake you but something crazy is going on. A plane just flew in to one of the twin towers in NY!" I couldn't believe what I was seeing. All I remember thinking is God, what is happening? My baby is now 10yo and its hard to believe we are now watching all of this on the news WITH her. God Bless America!
Joey performed in Yakima Washington that night for 107.3 KFFM. I'm guessing he stayed in Seattle later that night? He almost cancelled our show, but performed anyway, great guy!
